It has 5 seats, a rather attractive design and according to Toyota, combines environmental friendly engines with intelligent 4WD technology.

Here’s a Toyota I mightn’t despise. It looks okay, cool even, way better than the new bloated RAV4 and Klugger.

  • Realcars

Is this an Action Utility Vehicle?

  • Jace

Woah, livin’ on the edge here, Toyota.
Concept vehicle my @$$! More like a facelifted (facedropped) Rav4.

Toyota’s designers must come from the land of boring.

After seeing more pics it looks not as flash and too quirky as no real character or flow to it

can someone please tell toyota to invest in a “bodylines handbook”.

(and no im not talking cricket)
but on the subject of cricket this thing is about as square as the shoulder andy symonds landed on the streaker the other night

  • No Name

Its OK, not particularly startling, sure it will appeal to the older toyota clientele.

  • Wheelnut

This car looks like a real mongrel…
    Taillights – Holden Captiva
Flared Wheel Arches – Mitsubishi Outlander
    Headlights – Honda CRV
    Roofline – Renault Megane Hatch

    Same same from Toyota…………….boring as!

  • No Name

Ain’t it strange that TP doesn’t comment on a Toyota.

  • FORD

Wake me up when Toymota can build a half decent vehicle, BORING YAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! grandparents all over the world will warm to it, then tell the their siblings don’t buy anything else, might wreck our image.

  • golfschwein

Okay, I’ve just checked the Kuga out today. No contest. Sorry, Toyota.

ps I still think it looks decent for a Toyota.

  • Andrew M

    no name,
    where’s TP you ask?

well it is obvious he is too embarresed by toyotas offerings he is ashamed to ben seen posting along side them

my bet he will show up under an alias wearing a fake moustache and even thicker coke bottle glasses

  • golfschwein

He’s probably charged further into battle on the Mondeo TDci review.

I haven’t been back there since my last post…it’s a lost cause trying to communicate with the guy. I may as well go where I can make sense of others and them me. He thinks the Aurion won the WASP test. In fact, a boggo Mazda 3 did, with the Aurion coming in 4th.

Well the wife likes the Urban Ranger and it`ll be quite a bit cheaper to buy than the Kuga, so its the one she`ll get at the beginning of next year.

  • Dave G.

    Yep, I meant Urban Cruiser
