An environmentally friendly supercar? This will make Lamborghini jealous. Say hellow to Koenigsegg CCX-R, the environmentally friendly Swede.

Although Koenigsegg uses Bio Fuel to power the CCXR, it also produces more power than the standard CCX.

Although you might think bio fuel and more power are conflicting results, it’s possible due to the simple fact that the ethanol in biofuel has the positive side effect of cooling the combustion chambers, as well as a higher octane value, well over 100 RON, which gives more power.

Due to the fact that the biofuel has higher octane and cooling characteristics, the power has gone up to 759kW at 7200 rpm (more than the Veyron) and the torque to 1060 nm at 6100 rpm (relatively high rev range for the torque).

Agree with you there viper. How do they get that much power out of that engine. And it runs on biofuel to!! More than a Veyron (although i think it could do with more power, the veyron that is) Looks great to.
