It weighs just 1100 kg and is essentially a street-legal race car with an Audi sourced 4.2-litre V8 which has been tuned to the sound of 485 kW and 850 Nm of torque.

According to the designer it is destined to take on the likes of the Porsche 911 GT3. To do that, it is a mid engined, rear wheel drive two seater constructed on a tubular Chromoly frame.

Nothing from Germany or Italy can be considered “home-made”

You’re right there Frugal me old chum. Can you imagine telling people you drive a Gumbert!!

TP will tell us the Aurion is far better, is more dynamic, and with fatter front tyres will hold the road better.
