Bugatti Veyron at Melbourne Motor Show
February 22, 2008 by Alborz Fallah
The world’s fastest and most expensive production car – the Bugatti Veyron – will make a very limited and special appearance at the 2008 Melbourne Motor Show.
The car which is powered by 16 cylinders and 4 turbochargers produces 736kW and 1250Nm of torque. It goes from 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds (0-200km/h in 7.3 seconds) and has a top speed of more than 400 km/h. Of course, it costs around $2.7 million, but best of all, CarAdvice will be driving it, in France, in just three days!
The Veyron is initially set to make an appearance at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide and Trivett Bespoke Automotive, the Australian importer/dealer for Bugatti.
If you’re interested, you can catch Volkswagen’s monster at the show from 5pm to 10pm on Friday, then from 10 am to 10 pm on Saturday and Sunday, 29 February to 2 March.
However, if you can’t wait, expect full coverage of the Veyron starting early next week – live from France.

All those pro/for VW tests have paid off.
Obvs., lots of pull with VW AUS, they have gone in to bat for you on the Bugatti loaner vehicle.
I *could* love VW too, if they gave me a Bug to test! :-)
We all know what the Bugatti is like, seen the pictures, video, reviews etc, do something different like do a story/photo-shoot on the Bugatti factory and the new model coming out etc.

Don’t forget to turn the traction control off just reach all the way under the steering wheel and you should e able to find a hidden button. then you can power slide in it.
well after spending the last 4 days at the clipsal 500, i can say that it looks a mean machine in person, but it sound absolutely fabulous, as well as seeing the acceleration and de acceraltion. An awsome car, have fun driving it!
