Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

The Dodge Challenger has been updated for its 11th model year, with a new Hellcat Redeye taking parts and lessons from the limited edition Demon, and upgrades throughout the rest of the range. The new Redeye variant has a more powerful version of the 6.2-litre supercharged V8 doing service in other Hellcat models. Thanks to its larger supercharger, strengthened rods and pistons, and upgraded fuel injection and lubrication systems, the Redeye boasts a total of 594kW and 959Nm to its name.

The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon has been teased again this week, with new reports out of the US suggesting the stripped-down drag special may only have a seat for the driver. In the latest installment of the Demon's web video series through Dodge's YouTube channel, dubbed 'Body', the Challenger SRT Demon can be seen performing a serious burnout.

The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is priced from US$65,290 while the two-door Dodge Challenger version starts at $61,090 plus on-roads.
