2021 Skoda Karoq spy photos

Skoda’s updated Karoq SUV has been spotted testing ahead of a slated 2021 reveal, however new images do not show much of what’s been changed. While not clear in the spy photos, the 2021 Skoda Karoq is expected to adopt a new grille design, with revised front and rear bumpers, and updated graphics for the head and tail lights...

2020 Skoda Karoq pricing and specs: 140TSI and 110TSI

The updated 2020 Skoda Karoq will land in Australia from June, with the familiar 110TSI badge joined by a new 140TSI Sportline model. As reported in December, buyer demand in Europe means the company has focused the Karoq's allocation for the 1.5-litre engine and in-house seven-speed DSG auto on that region's stricter requirements, instead fitting Australian models with the older 1...

Fancy yourself a car enthusiast? While being an enthusiastic car owner and a good driver are both part of your overall street cred, a lot of it comes down to being able to talk the torque. And where many of us can come undone when showing off our automotive prowess is butchering the pronunciation of brand or model names as badly as Kim from Kath & Kim used to pronounce 'chardonnay' (she said 'kar-don-aye', for the record)...

Skoda will swap the 1.5-litre engine in the base Karoq for a less efficient 1.4-litre unit in 2020 – and it says Australia's emissions regulations are to blame. The only Karoq on offer in Australia is currently the 110TSI, which is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine making 110kW and 250Nm. It's mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission...

Skoda Karoq: 140 TSI 'or' 140 TDI on the cards

The Skoda Karoq is still on track to get a long-promised second variant in Australia with all-wheel drive, though the local arm is still working out what it will be powered by. Speaking with CarAdvice, Skoda Australia's general manager for corporate communications, Paul Pottinger, indicated the Czech brand's local division hopes to make an announcement 'soon', though it's unsure at this stage whether it'll be petrol or diesel...

Skoda has revealed and detailed the lightly revised 2020 model-year Karoq and Kodiaq SUVs, as production commences for the upgraded models. The main distinguishing design feature externally is the 'Skoda' lettering across the tailgate, a cue that already features on the facelifted Superb, the Scala and Kamiq. Skoda says this will be applied to all its models moving forward...
