2014 Ford Fiesta St Review
Was lucky to purchase this car as an ex demo considering there is a long wait for these.
- Handling, Fuel economy, Technology , Fun to drive, Great bang for your dollar
- Firm ride, Cheap interior, No sat nav, No rear camera
Go kart like handling, but suspension is firm and you feel most bumps in the road. Fuel economy is respectable at around 7-8 lts per 100km in city driving.
The recaro seats give good back support and hug the driver in. Has a cheap feel with the dash area and probably not as refined as other European competitors.
Has plenty of technology including key less entry, blue tooth and wireless connection to your phone, emergency assistance connection if you are involved in an accident, rear parking sensors, hill hold assist and more.
Sadly misses out on sat nav and rear parking camera. The car is a real drivers car and is a pleasure to drive and will guarantee to put a smile on your face.
Having ford capped pricing is a bonus as the servicing is fairly cheap. Only service every 12 months. Not the most practical car being only a 3 door hatch but still plenty of room for shopping in the boot and you can fold the seats easily.
Would recommend this car to anyone looking for a great bang for buck sports car that is cost effective as a daily driver and lots of fun to drive.
Very easy to see why this car gets rave reviews from top gear and many automotive reviewers. There is a real exclusivity about this car with very few on the road.
I have owned the fiesta st for 5 months and have not seen another around. Another handy bonus is that I only have to fill with 95 octane which is a saving over other competitor models that require 98 octane fuel.
