2014 Nissan Juke ST (FWD) Review
My partner and I bought a 2014 built Juke and we couldn't be happier with our choice.
- Hugs the road, Great styling (similar to Porsche SUV), Very comfortable ride, Good fuel economy, Love all the looks, smiles that the car gets!
- Small boot size, No rear vision camera , Technology (ie maps etc) is lacking
I am a 38 year old female and my partner and I had previously owned a Toyota and a Saab. The JUKE is the PERFECT combination of everything we like in a car: great styling, good safety, great drive-ability (zippy but very stable handling), good economy, comfortable cabin.
It is an absolute pleasure to get in this car everyday and we haven't questioned our purchase decision for a second! Don't be put off by the rear passenger door handles - they are not a problem as initially suspected, although they seem to stump passengers who have never seen the car before.
We have found it very easy to get kids and the dog in and out of the back seat. A let down is the size of the boot, no covered middle storage console, no rear vision camera and limited technology (ie no touch screen) for the base model.
It does struggle a little with its pick up, which means (having come from a turbo Saab), that I have to be a little more careful when zipping in or out of lanes. But these are small cons in terms of the overall handling and enjoyment in driving this car.
Initially I was concerned with the lack of back seat air vents, however, the air-conditioning is very efficient and the entire car cools down very quickly. My overall rating is an 8.4. Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed!
