Our first Japanese car after a long line of vw's and audi's the cx5 has been a pleasure. Once we got past the Japanese styling we've become really pleased with the long list of options, quality, price and just knowing the vehicle will last. Our previous cars took a lot of maintenance, which we now feel was a scam.
As we never test drove the cx5 with our young kids in the back we were shocked to find out we don't fit as a family. With a baby capsule and kids seat in both front seats need to be moved forward.
Our new car is now for sale and a xc60 is on its way, the extra $3000 for the volvo with the extra room, inbuilt kids seats and free servicing, i kick my self for not looking at it earlier. Pitty no car mag has reviewed the XC60 vs CX5.
