2011 HYUNDAI ELANTRA ELITE
I consider myself a driving enthusiast and am a huge holden fan (old man has a VE, sister a VZ) however when it came to buying my car I went elsewhere and went for the new Elantra.
- Exterior, Interior, Exterior Design, Build quality, soft touch materials, heaps of space, 5yr unlimited k warranty
- The side mirror button on driver's door isn't illuminated at night, the boot hinges in the boot and the A pilllars can create a blind spot
I bought it as a demo so got a great price for it. The build quality is brilliant, used to have an old Sonata so knew that these cars are made to last. The great thing about this car is that all the features are integrated and are so easy to use. The dashboard is uncluttered and stylish, and much of the car's dash controls are well-laid out on the steering wheel. The blue lighting I think is fantastic, really adds to the ambience, and has so many features for the money, push button entry/start, auto lights, rain sensing wipers and bluetooth for phone and mp3 to name a few.
Hyundai is not cheap and cheerful anymore, truly fantastic cars! Doesn’t matter what angle you look at, it’s just stunning.
Had its first service, was quite cheap (included 12 months roadside assist so take that out it was comparable or less than how much an independent mechanic would do it for) and customer service was fantastic. 5yr unlimited k warranty what more could you want!
I know it's not a driver's car but it compensates in every other field so I was able to forgive it for that. Definitely recommend everyone looking for a small car or anything really to take the Elantra/i30 for a test drive, you won't regret it.
