2007 Nissan Tiida ST-L Review

The old Tiida, for Nissan it was an unfortunate mistake to change the name from Pulsar. Most people didn't like the look of it, yet it was a well built vehicle and reliability was outstanding. We bought our Tiida ST-L brand new in 2007 and sold it in 2011 for a Holden Cruze SRiV, and that was a huge mistake...

2011 NISSAN NAVARA ST-X 550 Review

As many of you already know this ute is superb: strong, really smooth ride, can drive for hours, very comfortable. Sturdy interior will keep serving you over a long period of time. My disappointment came with realising that I cannot use the 4x4 low gear to hold the car from accelerating off-road down hill - the so-called manual gear cannot be locked into 1st 2nd or 3rd gear and the use of the brakes is a must - very dangerous in some off-road situations...

2013 NISSAN NAVARA ST-X 550 Review

I looked long and hard at the Colorado, Hilux and Ranger before testing the Navara but after one test drive up a long hill in Midland there was no way I could go back to one of the others. I have owned it for 1 month now and I have no regrets. Has good sat nav and the music box records your CDs which is a bonus...

2009 NISSAN NAVARA ST-X Review

Ute is used for work and play and is 4 years old with 230,000km on it now. Mine has been relatively trouble free mechanically (unlike others I know) but all the bits inside just fall apart - power windows don't work, 6 stack cd player broken, plastic falling off, leather on gear stick fallen off, leather steering wheel coming apart, cruise control issues, the cab leaks somewhere at rear, this list goes on...

2007 NISSAN NAVARA ST-X Review

Too many engine problems, timing chain and guides replaced, rocker cover gaskets leaking, three repairs on the diesel fuel pump, fuel injectors need replacing, pinion seal leaking. This is my first new car and it is only 6 years old. Pretty pathetic. For some reason Nissan didn't pick up these issues till the car was out of warranty (very convenient)...

2012 NISSAN MICRA ST-L Review

Brilliant car! Excellent handling both on he open country stretch and in city traffic. Great fuel economy and very comfortable interior. Had the Micra for nearly a year and wouldn't part with it! Love this car!

2013 NISSAN NAVARA ST-X 550 Review

The ST-X 550 Blackline: looked at one liked it now own one. Plastic interior is a bit so-so. Generaly a nice vehicle, however I dont understand why in this day and age auto manufacturers produce mid price range vehicles with drum brakes. I would think 4xdisc would inprove its braking power. The transmission is smooth, however it tends to hold on to the gears a little too long...

2013 NISSAN X-TRAIL ST Review

It may not be the best looking compact SUV out there. But it is it has lots of room, beautiful to drive and is value for money. On the highway it averages 8.6 litres for 100km, in town driving it is averaging about 9.5 litres every 100 km. The engine is very quiet even when travelling on the highway at 100km. Very comfortable to drive on long drives...

2012 NISSAN DUALIS Ti Review

Dualis +2 Can some one tell me how to get 8's L/100 around town. 7k5 on the clock 10.6 according to the computer 11's open road if I use the cruise. It doesn't get cained. Pricing only 2 cars we could find in the 30k - 35K with 7 seats. Captiva and Dualis. Deisel Captive great engine at 2.2 turbo. Comfort not great in comparison in Captiva...

2010 NISSAN MURANO ST Review

I have driven my Murano 90,000km in 18 months. Still feels brand new. My 11th company car in 30 years and without a doubt, the best. Just over $40K for the ST for fleet. Reversing...simply can't see. Wait for the crunch. Or buy the TI at $9K more with the reverse pack and camera. For the same money for the ST you buy just above a basic Holden or Ford...

2012 NISSAN TIIDA ST Review

I have owned my Nissan Tiida for one and a half months after getting it for a very good price of $16,700 driveaway (thanks to a mistaken ad by a dealer). With a 1.8-litre four-cylinder, the car feels just as powerful as my 2.4-litre four-cylinder automatic 2008 Toyota Camry, but it's even better going uphills thanks to its six-speed manual gearbox...
