Toyota Supra reveal locked in

Toyota fan boys and girls can finally set the date for the highly-anticipated reveal of the born-again Supra.

The 2019 Toyota Supra will be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in January in its final production version.

All we’ve seen so far - and sampled - is the camouflaged version of Toyota’s newest sports car with even the interior was kept mostly under wraps during a preview press drive in Spain last month.

Toyota has, according to its engineers, up until December to finish fine-tuning and calibrating the Supra before its big reveal in Detroit early next year.

Specifications including final power outputs and fuel consumption for its 3.0-litre turbo charged six-cylinder engine will also be revealed at the show.

Developed alongside the BMW Z4, but tuned by Toyota’s engineering team to create its own character, we expect to see the new A90 Supra in Australia in the second half of 2019.
