This 83-year-old lady races her own Porsche and Lamborghini

An 83-year-old woman from Switzerland has found fame online after footage of her driving at track days was posted to Reddit.

The video in question was uploaded to YouTube by a channel by the name of MattyB727.

First covered by Carscoops, Sonja M Heiniger has reportedly been attending Porsche Club races in Zurich for almost two decades. 

At these Porsche track events, her chosen vehicle is a Lizard green 991-generation 911 GT3 RS. 

Over the last few years, Sonja has been captured ripping her 911 around Italian circuits such as Monza and Imola. 

Alongside the Porsche, Sonja also keeps a Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale in her track day fleet. 

As one of just 149 produced, it’s fair to say most Gallardo STS models will be tucked away in a climate-controlled garage. 

Sonja is not one of these owners, as another video uploaded by MattyB727 shows the red supercar being driven around Monza at quite a pace. 

From the video, it’s clear Sonja isn’t afraid of taking the Gallardo’s 5.2-litre V10 engine all the way to its redline.
