Renault makes five-year warranty permanent for commercial range
Renault has made a five-year/200,000 kilometre warranty permanent across its commercial range.
The five-year warranty was offered as a promotion until the end of August, but Renault has now added it as standard for all petrol and diesel light commercial vehicles.
The warranty now matches Renault's Easy Life program, which provides buyers of Kangoo, Trafic, and Master models with five capped-price services and five years of roadside assistance – when serviced by the Renault's dealership network.
Only the Kangoo ZE misses out, with the small fully-electric van getting the previous three-year warranty. However, the model does get its own five-year/100,000km battery warranty.
Renault's five-year/200,000km warranty now brings it into line, with the five year terms available on the Toyota HiAce, Ford Transit, Hyundai iLoad, Mercedes-Benz Vito, and Volkswagen Transporter, though distance caps may vary, depending on usage.
The move also brings Renault's commercial vehicles into step with the passenger car range, which features a five-year/unlimited kilometre warranty across all models.
