Porsche has added another variant to its growing Cayenne SUV family, with the Turbo S arriving as a new flagship in the big SUV line-up.
With 405kW of power on tap, the Turbo S is now the most powerful model in the range, far outstripping the 368kW output of the 'regular' Cayenne Turbo.
The Turbo S is driven by the same 4.8 litre twin-turbo V8, but gains titanium-aluminium turbine wheels and a tweaked engine control unit. As a result, torque has also increased to 750Nm.
Porsche promises fuel consumption figures of 11.5 l/100km - identical to the regular Cayenne Turbo.
Matched with an eight-speed sports auto, the engine lists a 0-100km/h time of 4.5 seconds, making the Turbo S just 0.2 seconds quicker than its sans-S stablemate.
