Local deliveries for the Tesla Model Y-rivalling electric SUV are expected to commence in August 2024.
UPDATE, 9 April 2024: Buyers wanting an early look at the electric 2024 Polestar 4 before placing their orders can see the model on display at selected Polestar stores – including its Chadstone display centre in Melbourne, Alexandria in Sydney, and Bowen Hills in Brisbane – ahead of deliveries beginning in August.

1 February 2024: Orders are now open for the electric Polestar 4 SUV, which is expected to arrive in local showrooms in August 2024.
The range will consist of two variants: the Long Range Single Motor and Long Range Dual Motor.
Pricing starts at $81,500 plus on-road costs for the Long Range Single Motor model, and rises to $93,050 plus on-road costs for the Long Range Dual Motor variant.
This pricing structure is comparable to its Tesla Model Y rival, with the Long Range dual motor variants starting at $78,400 plus on-road costs and order/delivery fees, and the range-topping Performance model at $91,400 plus on-road costs and order/delivery fees.
As standard, the Chinese-made Polestar 4 will be sold with the Pilot Pack in Australia, which adds semi-autonomous driving capabilities with the Pilot Assist system.
The options list on the Polestar 4 consists of three options packages, including the Plus Pack, the Pro Pack, and the Performance Pack.
At an $8000 premium, the Plus Pack adds features such as matrix LED headlights, a head-up display, 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a small rear touchscreen, power-adjustable steering column, and more.
The Pro Pack will set buyers back an additional $2500, bringing 21-inch alloy wheels and styling changes.
Exclusively offered on the range-topping Long Range Dual Motor model, the Performance Pack comes at a $7200 premium, and adds 22-inch wheels, four-piston Brembo brakes, a chassis tuning upgrade, and gold details on the brakes, seat belts, and valve caps.
The 2024 Polestar 4 is due in Australian showrooms in August 2024.
