Nissan GT-R VVIP announced for the Middle East
Nissan has announced a Middle East-only edition of its supercar killer, with the unveiling of the GT-R VVIP.
The car will be on display for the first time at the 2012 Big Boys Toys exhibition, and is distinguished from your garden-variety GT-R by a few, shall we say, "blinged" accents.
Think gold. Yes, there's 24-carat gold plating on the grille that shows the market this car is aimed at. Other gold plated areas feature throughout and there are gold VVIP badges as well. Rounding out the exterior is a carbon-fibre rear wing, possibly to offset the extra weight of the gold accents.
Inside, the Bose Precision sound system is individually tailored to each car, by being tuned according to the owner's driving position.
Twelve interior colour choices are available, as well as special leather highlights and quilted seating.
No prices were given for the GT-R VVIP, but you can expect a substantial premium over the regular GT-R.
