Lego Technic Ford F-150 Raptor unveiled

Build your own F-Series off-roader that, even with 'just' 1379 pieces, still isn't right-hand drive.

Another large-scale Lego model has landed. It's big, orange and guaranteed to make you say 'F-Truck' more than once as you diligently assemble the 1379-piece 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor.

Built in the same orange as the 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Lego Technic set 42126 offers the iconic American off-road F-150 pickup truck with a scale V6-engine, detailed suspension, four opening doors and roof-mounted steering access. It even wears the Michigan plates issued on Ford's home turf..

From the images, the design doesn't seem as coherent as some other recent kits, but the chunky tyres and robust nature of the Raptor are sure to make it a fun kit to build, display, or 'jump' across kitchen obstacles. The model's raked stance further accentuates this.

The model is around 42cm long and 8cm wide, and is suggested for ages 18 and up.

You can pre-order it now from the Lego store for $249.99, with shipments starting on 1 October 2021.

By our calculation that makes it a late Father's Day or early Christmas present. Speaking for everyone, both work.
