Kia adds new Sportage and Cerato models
South Korean brands adds another stepping stone to top-end models.
Kia expands SUV and small car ranges with new specification level.
The South Korean car maker has added a new Si Premium grade to the two-wheel drive petrol Sportage range. The Si Premium will sit above the current entry-level Si and beneath the SLI.
Priced from $30,990 before on-road costs it commands a $2000 premium over the base Si.
Equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and navigation and LED daytime running lights.
A range of added safety equipment comes standard, too, with front parking sensors, auto defog, rain sensing wipers and anti-dazzle rear view mirror over the Si.
The Cerato range gets a new Sport specification that sits above the entry-level S.
Priced at $22,450 drive-away, the Cerato Sport comes with 17-inch alloy wheels - with a full-size alloy spare which is rare in this segment – and a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring.
Inside the touches include a faux-leather steering wheel and gear lever, chrome interior door handles, soft touch plastics, sport badging and a rear spoiler on the sedan variant.
