Jerry Seinfeld to sell 16 rare Porsches
The avid Porsche collector and comedian will put some of his prize possessions up for auction.
Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is one of the world's foremost collectors of Porsches.
The former TV star is auctioning off 16 of his rare and very valuable Porsches many of which have expected values of several million dollars.
The auction is handled by Gooding & Company and will take place on March 16 in Florida.
Some of the highlights of the collection include a 1973 Porsche 917/30 Can-Am Spyder, a 2000 Porsche Carrera GT Prototype, a 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder along with several 911s from across the years and a few Porsche 356s.
Seinfeld has even thrown in a few older Volkswagens, a 1960 Beetle and a 1964 Volkswagen Camper.
Seinfeld says the reason for selling some of his much loved machines are so that someone else may get to experience them and the joy and happiness that his sports cars have brought him.
