Facelifted Nissan Juke revealed
Japanese brand upgrades its quirky-styled SUV.
Nissan has given its small Juke SUV a mild makeover.
On display at the recent 2018 Geneva motor show, the new Juke features a revised dark chrome front grille, dark headlight interiors and dark mirror turn indicators. A number of redesigned alloy-wheels in either 16- or 18-inch specification.
In a boost to music fans, the Japanese marque has included a new Bose 360-degree stereo system that includes six speakers, with two built into the driver's headrest, that is unique to Nissan.
Nissan has also improved the quality of the leather steering wheel and the graphics on the digital information display for easier reading.
A range of personalisation options including coloured front and rear bumper inserts, mirror caps and side sills will be available on the new model, the personalisation options also extend inside. Several new colour options – bronze and blue - are also available.
The Juke will still feature its current range of powertrains: a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol making 85kW and 190Nm and a larger 1.6-litre four-pot pumping out 140kW and 240Nm.
Buyers have the choice of either a six-speed manual or a CVT transmission that drives the front wheels, except in the range-topping variants where the transmission drives all four wheels.
Pricing and local specification will be revealed closer to the car's on sale date later this year.
