Aftermarket solution for ‘missing’ gauges in Tesla Model 3

Tesla's spartan dashboard layout shocked many when the compact Model 3 was launched in 2017, and for many buyers, the step from a more traditional layout to the hyper-modern cockpit is potentially a step too far.

Luckily, aftermarket specialist Hansshow has a rather elegant solution.

Hansshow have created a set of circular LCD dials, which mount securely to the existing steering column trim, to act almost as a head-up display for the driver. The unit can display speed, battery power and the current speed limit with colour, brightness and other settings able to be changed to suit the user.

The contrast will even adjust from night to day, and can be adjusted on the fly.

The gauges plug straight in to the Tesla's wiring loom, and seem to look almost factory in implementation. They will fit the Model 3 and the upcoming Model Y.
