Porsche has unveiled the interior of the 2025 Porsche Macan Electric – the company's second electric car – days after images emerged of its exterior design wearing little to no disguise.

As previously reported, the second-generation Macan is electric-only – on a dedicated electric-car platform – and will be initially sold alongside its petrol-powered sibling in Porsche showrooms.

Posted to Instagram by @wilcoblok, the exterior images give us our best look yet at Porsche’s upcoming electric SUV, which wears styling in line with recent Porsches including the latest Cayenne and Taycan.

Highlights include split LED headlights, aggressive front and rear bumpers, and a sloping roofline akin to a Tesla Model Y to improve aerodynamics and driving range.

Days after these photos emerged, Porsche unveiled the interior of its new electric vehicle as part of a media preview in Germany.

It is similar to the interiors of other new Porsches – including the latest Panamera – with a 12.6-inch digital driver’s display behind the steering wheel, which can be configured in a number of ways.

This is flanked by the start button on the left, and Porsche’s electric gear selector tab on the right.

In the centre of the dashboard sits a 10.9-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as well as third-party applications such as Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. 

An optional 10.9-inch touchscreen is located ahead of the front passenger, and allows them to stream videos out of the view of the driver – thanks to a special film over the screen that limits the angle of its view.
