We've visited a number of car factories over the years, and there's nearly always one condition of entry: "hand over your phones and cameras".
Security is always extra tight when there's something special trundling down the assembly line, so it's surprising that these photos of a completely undisguised 2016 Hyundai Elantra have found their way onto the internet prior to its official unveiling.
Taken at one of Hyundai's South Korean plants and published on Korean website Auto Tribune, the photos show that the new Elantra (shown here in Korean-market Avante AD form) is surprisingly faithful to the teaser imagery released last week.
The wheel designs are scaled down to a more production-car-friendly size, of course, but the contouring, headlamp clusters, bumper shape and cutlines are all the same.
