2016-17 Infiniti Q30, QX30 recalled
An issue with the owner's manual forces GLA-based crossover back to the dealership.
Infiniti Australia has recalled the Q30 and QX30, over concerns about the owner's manual in some vehicles.
According to the company, some manuals contain an error when describing the rear child door locks. If owners misunderstand the function, there's a risk children will be able to open the doors when the otherwise shouldn't be able to.
That puts occupants and other road users at risk of an accident.
A total of 126 vehicles are affected by the campaign – a VIN list is attached here.
Infiniti Australia will contact owners of the affected vehicles, and advise them to get in touch with their nearest dealership for a free tweak to the manual.
Parts will become available in January 2019.
