2008 Mercedes C-Class Estate and S320 CDI
Mercedes Australia has been busy today, with the introduction of not only its C-Class Estate, but also the S-Class 320 CDI.
The C-Class estate carries the same specifications as its sedan siblings, meaning Classic, Elegance, and Avant Garde options are available. Initially being launched as a C200K model, the Estate range will be rounded out by the addition of the C220 CDI, and the C63 AMG later in the year.
Pricing is set at $58,890 for the C200K, with the C220 CDI amd C63 Estates carrying a tag of $63,100 and $141,300 respectively. Loading space is rated at between 485L and 1500L depending on seating configuration.
Also today the S-Class gains a new model to the local line-up with the introduction of the S320 CDI. This is the first time that the S-Class has been made available with turbo-diesel power in Australia - a move which cashes in on Aussies turning towards more fuel efficient vehicles.
Making 173kW and between 500-540Nm, the 3-litre V6 is among the more powerful passenger cars with this size engine.
The S320 CDI comes into showrooms priced at $190,900.
