Which is quicker in the real world? We throw former racing driver Ian Dyk the keys to find out in a series a performance tests.
The hottest version of Mini's Clubman, the John Cooper Works, takes on Mercedes-AMG's A35 hot hatch... on track! Which is the most fun to drive when (mostly) unleashed? Jamed Ward finds out.
There are other hatches, there are other AMGs, most of which will suit the majority of your needs better than this one, but if you really must have the hottest of the hot, there is no other option: it's the 2020 Mercedes-AMG A45 S!
There's never a bad time to taste some old-school performance, but is anything from the 1990s old enough to be retro cool, yet? That's the question we explore here, looking back at a 1996 Mercedes-Benz C36 AMG - right alongside today's hero, the 2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 S.
There’s a difference between a faster A-Class and a proper AMG hatchback, but which one is the A35? We get our first chance to find out on local roads.
Overall, the new 2020 Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S is the more mature choice over an A45. It’s a shame it just misses out on the three-seconds club, because other than that, it would be our pick over the A45 every day of the week. In red.
What a worthwhile wait. With the new 2020 Mercedes-AMG A45 S, the only negatives are the lack of noise and the similar-to-A-Class interior. With models like the Audi Q5, BMW X3/X4 and Volvo XC60 all vying for attention in the premium mid-sized SUV segment, Mercedes-Benz has given its GLC an all-important update How does it stack up? Mike Costello finds out.
There's so much to like, here. If I were buying an AMG GT, I would find it hard to go past the GT R at first. And if I intended to track the car frequently, I would put up with the downfalls, but a more rational version of me would definitely pick the GT C and live happily ever after. Maybe.
Look... The Mercedes-AMG G63 is one of the most pointless cars in the world. But, the world is a much better place because of its existence. If you ever spot one of these on the road, tip your hat to the legend that spent the best part of $300,000 on a car that puts a smile on the face of anybody that loves excess.
