Lexus is the luxury manufacturer founded 1989 in Japan and first sold to the US market. It apparently stands for Luxury EXports United States, however it has never been confirmed. The company is wholly owned by Toyota. There are 10 Lexus models available to the Australian market including the CT 200h, GS450h, IS F, IS250, IS350, LS600hL, LX570, RX350 & RX450h. The ES300h offers all the typical Lexus build quality and features at a competitive price. Aussies love an SUV, as we know, but this is a compelling sedan.
On the rare occasion Lexus makes a convertible, it's fair to say it doesn't do things by halves. The 2021 Lexus LC500 Convertible debuted in late 2020 as only the third drop-top model the Japanese marque has produced in its 31-year history, after the SC and IS models. It also marks the brand's first-ever soft-top convertible...

As the original flagship of the then-fledgeling Lexus range when it launched in the late 1980s, the LS was arguably the first Japanese car to make the European brands sweat. Flash forward to 2021 and the tried-and-tested luxury limousine has received a mid-generation facelift – but does the 2021 Lexus LS still do enough to have the Audi, BMW and Mercedes of the world nervously looking over their shoulders? As far as “facelifts” go, this is more of an aesthetic nip and tuck than an extreme makeover...

I spent 6 months looking for a used reliable luxury car that could do 40,000 to 50,000 of highway kilometres yearly without bankrupting me (no, I am not an Uber driver). My choice was between the Genesis G80 and the Lexus GS (I was initially looking for Lexus LS460 but I could never find one that was in WA where I live)...
This car was intended for my spouse, but ended up being driven mostly by me and is now my 'officially' mine. I was involved in the buying process and as a first time luxury car purchase, the difference was simply that the sales people were not pushy and seemed to appreciate that buying car is not something to rush through in a couple of hours as if buying a TV...
So the day comes to finally get one of my dream cars; a 2011 MY12 Lexus IS F. It's absolutely immaculate on the outside, beautiful on the inside and well serviced. It couldn't have been a more perfect car for the price. I've always been a fan of fast luxury mid-sized sedans with big motors. With the IS F you get the beautiful sound of a 5...
I was a happy, one-eyed BMW owner for twenty years but eventually became tired of the increasingly excessive service costs ($850 to supply and fit four sets of disc pads) and turned to the internet to research an alternative luxury sport ride. A 2011 Lexus IS350 looked the goods with its punchy V6 engine, pin point handling and sumptuous leather interior...
