Facelifted for the 2021 model year, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio remains a potent performance sedan, and now at a more competitive price.
Equal parts Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, this ludicrously loud Italian will tolerate city driving, but only makes real sense when it’s able to roam free.
Yes, we can still confirm the Mitsubishi Lancer is no longer on sale (but we like to double-check every now and then). But there are still plenty of models lingering around among all the new or relatively fresh metal in showrooms – vehicles that most people had forgotten were actually still available...
As a city-dwelling everyday car, this SUV with an Italian attitude may not be entirely functional, but it sure is fun.
Sponsored by: Alfa Romeo When you hear the name Alfa Romeo, you most likely picture an Italian sports car; that while great to drive, might not be the most sensible solution for your daily life. But the Alfa Romeo Stelvio is a modern, functional SUV that still looks like a glamourous Italian sports car, remains great to drive, and makes much more sense on the school run...
It may've been only a short spin in anger, but CarAdvice.com Managing Editor, Trent Nikolic, has come away from the Stelvio Quadrifoglio... mighty impressed.
Australia is indeed a lucky country. For the second consecutive year, one of the oldest motorsport events in the world, Targa Florio, has left Sicily in Italy, and touched down in Victoria. Here, Mandy takes a spin in both the powerful new Alfa Romeo Giulia Q, and the legendary 1970 Alfa Romeo 105 Giulia Sprint GT 1300 Junior.
Read the full article here. Australia – it's the country where there's always an insect, animal or sea creature trying to kill you. It's also the country that once housed a thriving car industry. But, instead of crying over spilt milk, we're showing the world one last time why the constant fear of death has inspired our local engineers to build a car that's itching at the chance to chew you up and spit you out...
Alfa Romeo and Jaguar are hardly synonymous with producing performance SUVs of note, yet both brands do. And do so brilliantly. The weapons of mass transportation you see here are the Stelvio Quadrifoglio and F-Pace SVR, and both want to give Porsche’s Macan and the Mercedes-AMG GLC a bloody nose. And let's be honest, they do it with charm and style...
Want a circa-$100k mid-engined sportscar experience and don't want a Porsche 718? We check out the 'alternative' baby supercars in the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider and Alpine A110...
If you’re looking for the most visceral journeys, short or long, from a practical mid-sized performance sedan, should you look to Alfa Romeo, Audi Sport, BMW M or Mercedes-AMG?
UPDATE, 19 January 2021: It's done! Six months after Stellantis was announced as the name of the merger between Fiat Chrysler Group (FCA) and the Peugeot Group (PSA), the new entity has launched. The merger makes Stellantis one of the largest car companies in the world, with combined annual sales of around 8.1 million vehicles...
The 2022 Alfa Romeo Tonale, the Italian brand's long-awaited competitor to the Audi Q3 and Mercedes-Benz GLA, looks set to (at last) make its public debut and launch in Europe in the final months of the year. According to a report from Spanish publication Motor...
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has announced plans to upgrade its Tychy, Poland factory to build three new models for Jeep, Fiat and Alfa Romeo from the second half of 2022, one of which could be Alfa Romeo's upcoming, city-sized SUV...
Alfa Romeo had a reasonable year considering the market challenges, with sales of the Stelvio SUV up about 15 per cent year-on-year. With an updated Giulia sedan just launched, we're expecting to see similar updates flow across to the Stelvio, which is due to arrive in Alfa Romeo showrooms in the first quarter of 2021...
Yes it’s an Alfa, yes it's expensive to maintain and yes it's greedy on petrol... but it’s pure class! You really need to own one to realise the pure joy of owning an Alfa Romeo. The sound of the 3.0-litre V6 Busso engine is marvellous. The 166 does come with different types of engines, but the V6 Sportronic is the best...
Let me preface my review in saying that I will try to keep this as subjective as possible. As you may know, Alfa Romeo owners tend to have tunnel vision when discussing their car's flaws and shortcomings, all of which are plentiful in an Alfa Romeo, let's be honest. However, I will also say that this review will contain some extremely passionate commentary on the car and it may be borderline unhealthy...
They say that you’re not a true petrolhead until you own an Alfa Romeo and I think I understand that now. Ever since the Alfa Romeo Giulia drove into my life, I can’t help but fall in love with her more and more every day. Before we drive into the full review, it’s worth mentioning that our Alfa is the Giulia Auto with the optional Veloce pack...
Rating the 1990 Alfa Romeo 75 V6, informally dubbed the “Potenziata”, against specific attributes and establishing an overall/average score is ultimately pointless. The Potenziata is a classic case of its sum being greater than its parts. It's a flawed gem, so I could never rate it 10/10 on any one attribute (and I’ve arguably still been overly generous in my scoring) and yet my overall score would be 11 (which I believe is reasonable)...
