Based on the Renaultsport 200, production of the Renault Clio Gordini 200 has been limited to just 500 examples all destined for the UK market where it is sure to become a hot item for track day enthusiasts.
The exterior features Gordini trademark Malta Blue metallic finish with twin white racing stripes, door mirrors also finished in white, a gloss black accent on the front bumper with a white F1-style ‘blade’ and 17-inch Gordini alloy wheels.
Two more exterior colours are also available as an option - Pearl Black with white Gordini stripes or Glacier white with anthracite Gordini stripes and anthracite for the door mirrors and front blade - while the Gordini stripes can be deleted altogether.
The same theme is carried through to the interior with Renaultsport seats in dark grey leather with blue details and Gordini-embossed logo, along with similar detailing on the gearlever boot and Gordini-badged gear knob.
The steering wheel is finished in blue and dark grey leather with two white stripes at its centre point in true facing style while the instrument cluster features a white rev counter with black gloss finish to the centre console, fascia inserts and air vent surrounds.
Customers will have a choice of two bespoke chassis - a standard ‘sport’ chassis along with a 'Cup' chassis with performance suspension available as an option.
The front suspension geometry features a 'Perfohub' independent steering axis front arrangement that guarantees traction and steering accuracy in all circumstances.
The Renault Clio Gordini 200 also adds fade-free braking with a Brembo brake package and packs a punch with a high-performance, naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre engine generating 150kW.
