Limited-run designer edition to be exclusively sold online following Paris debut.
Citroen has revealed the limited-edition C3 JCC+ ahead of its public debut at the Paris motor show next month.
Just 99 examples of this eye-catching special edition will be built, boasting a unique exterior specification designed in collaboration with French designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.
The body is finished in Perla Nera black, contrasting with the Aden Red roof, yellow wheel cap surrounds and mirror caps, along with blue Airbump and fog-light surrounds.
Up top the red roof also has a special chevron decoration, while the rear door and rear quarter panel incorporate the blue JCC+ monogram. This colour combination has been chosen to echo the designer's signature colours – red, blue and yellow.
Inside, the C3 JCC+ sports the Urban Red interior colour scheme mixed with yellow accents for the steering wheel and gear lever. The dashboard, meanwhile, gets a blue surround.
Each vehicle also gets a metal plate numbered 1 to 99, located "at the foot of the gear-stick".
The C3 JCC+ is based on the 'high-end' Shine trim level – the sole variant available in Australia – though bolsters specification with extra features normally reserved for the options list.
Additions include Safety Pack 2, incorporating autonomous emergency braking, driver attention monitoring, auto high-beam, and an electrochromic rear-view mirror, along with Citroen's ConnectedCam forward-facing camera that doubles up as a dash cam, satellite navigation, a rear-view camera, and blind-spot monitoring.
Citroen will begin selling the C3 JCC+ from November exclusively through its French website, the first time it's used this sales approach.
Peugeot Citroen's local division has ruled out the C3 JCC+ for our market, telling CarAdvice the limited edition is "currently not under consideration for Australia".
Hopefully, stuff like the Safety Pack 2 and satellite navigation system become Down Under as a model-year update soon.
