Rolls-Royce Cullinan teased again
New SUV's tail-light shows itself ahead of full reveal 9PM tomorrow
Rolls-Royce has released yet another teaser for the Cullinan, its first-ever SUV – sorry, high-sided vehicle – ahead of its reveal tomorrow night.
A single image of the car's tail-light was released overnight previewing styling that, based on this picture, won't stray too far from that of the current Phantom. Along with the shape of the light itself, the image offers a sneak peek at the classic Rolls-Royce waistline we can expect.
Beyond the rear corner, previous teasers have confirmed the car will offer a new 'Viewing Suite' for owners who want to watch sport (probably the polo) from the tailgate. We also know it'll be built on the same all-aluminium 'Architecture of Luxury' underpinning the Phantom.
Rolls-Royce trumpets the platform's light weight and impressive rigidity, arguing it's around 30 per cent lighter than the previous Phantom's space frame and around 10 per cent quieter at 100km/h.
"Cullinan is a motor car of such clarity of purpose, such flawless quality and preciousness, and such presence that it re-calibrates the scale and possibility of true luxury," said Torsten Muller-Otvos, CEO of Rolls-Royce.
"Just like the Cullinan Diamond, the largest flawless diamond ever found, it emerges when it is perfect and exists above all others," he continued.
We don't have to wait much longer for Rolls-Royce to reveal the Cullinan. The car is set for a full unveil at 9PM tomorrow night, so stay tuned for our coverage.
