With a bigger wing, more venting and a roof scoop

Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has offered another teaser of its upcoming SCG004C and SCG004CS models, with power coming from the Nissan GT-R's engine.

The SCG004C will be the track-only version of James Glickenhaus' next supercar, designed to compete in GTE, GT3 and GT4 racing when it launches later this year.

Along with the track-ready version, the SCG004CS will be road-legal – Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus is actually planning to drive a road car to the track, converting it to race-spec and putting it through its paces in competition.

According to Autocar, the car will be powered by a version of the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 in the Nissan GT-R instead of the 5.0-litre V8 initially planned for the SCG004S. In entry-level guise, the engine is expected to be bumped up to about 515kW of power, with more available as part of an options package.

The engine will be paired with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, although a paddle-shift automatic will be optional.

As you can tell from the images here, the C and CS will be more aggressive takes on SCG004S released earlier this year. The aggressively vented bonnet and rear deck, along with that massive spoiler, mean the car certainly doesn't lack for presence. Inside, it's expected to offer a central seating position like the McLaren F1.

Expect the SCG004C and CS to enter limited production late in 2019 or early in 2020.
