We love Owner Reviews at CarAdvice. After all, the people who slapped down their hard-earned money on a car are, arguably, best qualified to tell the world what they're like!

Here are our five favourites from January, along with the story that inspired the most comments. Want to see your review featured here? Submit a review using the link on our home page!

Vaibhav Patil, 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan

As soon as the latest Tiguan was launched, Vaibhav knew he wanted one. About 18 months after first seeing the car, a made-to-order 110TDI Adventure was sitting in the driveway at home.

Thankfully, the ownership experience has matched the hype so far. Read the full review here.

Stuart B, 2015 BMW i8

Stuart is a lucky man, with a stunning white BMW i8 sitting in his driveway. It's a very different car to the E92 M3 coupe it replaces – in a good way.

Although it's slower than the supercar looks might suggest, Stuart is still a big fan of the hybrid BMW. Read the full review here.

Peter Dannock, 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF GT

The Mazda MX-5 is one of our favourite affordable, fun cars on the market at the moment.

With the security and warmth of a hardtop during winter, but all the wind-in-your-hair thrills of the soft-top in summer, Peter was instantly drawn to the RF ('Retractable Fastback').

Here's his full review.

David Festa, 2014 Toyota 86 GT

With a compact boxer-four engine, a manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive, the 86 represents a throwback to the old-days of driving. David loves the driving position, but wasn't a fan of the cheap tyres and low-rent cabin.

His total verdict? Find out here.

Owen, 2012 Skoda Yeti

Barring one hiccup, Owen has had a trouble-free run with his Skoda Yeti. Although it can be hesitant at low speed, the DSG gearbox combines well with the 1.2-litre engine. Most useful of all, though, is the versatile seating arrangement.

Greg Gates, 2017 Kia Stinger

Like anything Stinger-related, Greg's review sent the comments into meltdown in January. As the owner of seven consecutive Commodores before his Stinger, Greg is smack-bang in the middle of Kia's target market.

What does he think? Find out here.

Congratulations to Vaibhav, Stuart and Peter – they take home a $50 fuel voucher. Enter next month for your chance to win!
