2016 Jaguar XE and XF sedans recalled for fuel-hose fix
Jaguar Australia has recalled a number of its 2016 XE and XF sedans over fears a fuel-hose issue may cause the engine to stall unexpectedly.
According to Jaguar, a low-pressure fuel-feed hose may detach from the fuel filter, causing fuel to leak into the engine bay, increasing the likelihood of the engine stalling.
Should this occur, the vehicle could experience a sudden loss of power, steering, and braking, which could result in a crash.
Jaguar says the fault can be easily fixed with the addition of a new retention clip. Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Jaguar.
