Dubbed the Subaru BRZ tS, the Japan-only model is limited to 300 cars, with 100 exclusively available with the new super-bright hue.
Upping the rear-wheel-drive two-seater's sporting prowess are front and rear Bilstein suspension, an STI engine 'V Bar', a large-diameter drive shaft, Brembo brakes and cross-drilled rotors and 18-inch aluminium wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres.
Topping the package off are Cherry Red exterior highlights, a limited edition carbonfibre-style dash panel, Recaro bucket seats, and interior touches of Alcantara.
The standard BRZ's naturally aspirated 2.0-litre 'Boxer' four-cylinder remains unchanged, with outputs again of 147kW and 205Nm.
Only due to be sold inside its home market, the Subaru BRZ tS can also be had in WR Blue Pearl, Crystal White Pearl or Crystal Black Silica.
Earlier this year Subaru Australia announced the Sunshine Yellow XV Special Edition, featuring a near-identical paint finish.
