The British love the Civic Hybrid so much that the Britain’s Environmental Transport Association (ETA) has named the Honda Civic Hybrid winner of its 2007 Car Buyers' Guide making the car the winner for the second year running. The aim of the award is to find the most environmentally friendly car, testing some 2,500 cars.
"We know that increasing numbers of people want to make informed choices about cars particularly in terms of carbon emissions and the damage caused to the environment, it is not surprising that the winner this year is again the Honda Civic Hybrid." explains Andrew Davis, Director of the ETA.
The Civic was also named the cheapest hybrid car to own and maintain by the RACV here in Australia. Honda sells the Civic Hybrid in Australia from $32,990.
