As we can see on this Q5 based mule, the Q6 will be slightly longer and also a little wider to give it a more aggressive road-presence. Engines and transmissions is expected to be shared with the Q5 and Q7 models.
Year to date, BMW has sold about 200 X6s in Australia, a little bit down on last year's results. Nonetheless, we understand the demand for the Q6 is coming from Audi dealers in North America and China who need a model to compete with the X6, which enjoyed substantial growth in those markets last year.
