2011 Volkswagen Passat C V6 FSI Review
4 years on and 73,000 klm it has been a great "Drivers" car especially in the open road. The suspension adjustment (comfort, normal, sport) make for confident country driving. Cabin comfort is excellent front and rear while the boot space is ample for 4 people away for the weekend.
If you want to program a car to suit you and your needs the CC is great. It has a stack of electronic adjustments, have fun. Especially audio - Hard Disk, SD card reader, simple blue tooth and good quality hands free phone mic and speakers.
The car has a lot of luxury car features - headlights that turn with you at low speed. Rear window sun shade helps keep the car cool and stops sun glair.
Front and rear parking sensors are a must as you loose the front and rear of the car in normal driving position.
The 2 rear seats are very comfortable and the centre console caters for your passenger needs. It also has a power outlet at the rear of the front console, handy for the passengers gadgets.
I was very disappointed in the Sun Roof as it only tilts, I missed the full open air.
Air condition is made for Europe and as such doesn't get cold enough for Australian temperatures as was explained to me. I took it for a re gas two week after I purchased it in November ...
Servicing/parts is more expensive than other makes.
Brake disc rotors wear faster than Japanese vehicles.
It is the best Point to Point car I have owned. Highway / country road driving is a real pleasure.
