I purchased my Laredo after glancing at them 6 months earlier when I took our Dodge Nitro in for service.

The dealer offered the Laredo with a 2″ lift kit, black powder coated wheels and cooper tyres at the standard driveaway price, I couldn’t say no. We also purchased a new horse float at the same time and then headed home (2,300 km journey).

Loved the drive home! The first time ever that I didn’t have to stop every couple of hours because of a sore backside! The power delivery up and down ranges and overtaking towing 880kg was impressive.

Our journey home takes two full days, so we decided to sleep in the Jeep overnight at Ravenshoe, pretty comfy, good legroom.

Fuel economy was good on the highway even towing the horse float, we averaged 11.8 which was acceptable.

Overall a very impressive feature packed unit, more than happy with both our Jeep and our Dodge.
