Hyundai has chopped the roof off its new Veloster, giving the sportster a retro roll-top convertible look for this week's LA Auto Show.
The carmaker's Hyundai Design North America studio fitted a canvas roof that can be slid forward or backward depending on your preference.
Hyundai calls the C3's roof-forward-seats-down configuration "recreation mode," allowing for bikes, surfboards or kayaks to poke out the top, Baja-bug style.
Speaking of bikes, the C3's green rear wheel is a nod to 'fixie' culture, where a contrasting back wheel is often used to broadcast that you're running a single-geared pushy.
Other mods to the C3 include a bigger grille, free-flow exhaust, bigger intake manifold, smoked tail-lights and a boot floor tiled with old skateboard decks.
