What a week.
One of the most anticipated new cars of the year - the Mk VII VW Golf - has finally hit Australia, on sale and in showrooms from April 27.
It has already claimed the World Car of the Year title and been awarded a 5-Star ANCAP safety rating (the petrol models, at least).
Priced from just $21,490 it is hard to see the new Golf being anything other than a continuing success in the Australian market. As always, time will tell.
