The Royal cars of the Queen’s funeral procession

The ceremonial funeral procession for Queen Elizabeth II features over 3000 members of the Commonwealth armed forces escorting the Queen's coffin on a century-old gun carriage between Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace in London.

The marching forces are joined by members of the Royal family on foot, while others ride behind in a selection of Royal and State vehicles.

Presented as a gift to Queen Elizabeth for her Silver Jubilee in 1977, the customised Rolls-Royce Phantom VI features a raised roof with glass top panel and panoramic rear window for parade duties.

The rear window has been replaced by a more sombre covering for the funeral procession.

The car was used to escort the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, to her wedding in 2011.

One of the last of 374 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI produced between 1968 and 1990, the secondary car is a 'regular' 1987 Phantom VI limousine. Like other official Royal vehicles, it is finished in Royal Claret.

Prince Andrew's daughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie are in this car.

Based on the Arnage platform, two Bentley State Limousines were presented to Queen Elizabeth II for her Golden Jubilee in 2002.

The cars are armoured to protect the occupants, and in 2009 the 6.75-litre twin-turbo V8 was modified to run on biofuel for cleaner emissions.

The Duchess of Sussex and Countess of Wessex are in this car.

Seen earlier in the funeral coverage escorting members of the Royal Family to Westminster Hall, this is one of two customised Jaguar XJ State Limousines in service. The cars use NGN-1 and NGN-2 licence plates.

The Wilcox-built Jaguar XJ hearse that transported the Queen's coffin to Buckingham Palace earlier in the week will carry her coffin on its final journey to Windsor Castle.

In the final motorcade, the hearse is joined by a pair of long-wheelbase 2022 Range Rovers, both finished in Royal Claret and using MYT-1 and MYT-2 number plates.
