Honda has taken a leaf out of the Lexus playbook, unveiling a repainted version of its hot Civic Type R concept.
Revealed in a deep red finish at March’s Geneva Motor Show, the Type R concept has been given a new blue hue for this week’s Paris Motor Show.
The lightly refreshed look is rounded out with some new body graphics, including a unique ‘R’ pattern through the front guards and doors.
The concept’s rocketship styling remains unchanged for its Paris outing, and the mechanical package is also believed to be unchanged.
Specific details for the new Civic Type R are still to come, although Honda has previously confirmed that a 2.0 litre turbocharged engine will provide upwards of 206kW.
And with Paris the last of this year’s major European motor shows, we could see the British-built hatch’s figures detailed in the coming week.
