Range Rover Sport adds Stealth Pack to help buyers go under the radar

The British marque's second-most popular vehicle gets all dark and mysterious.

A new dark styling pack is now available for the 2025 Range Rover Sport – but it doesn't come cheap.

Range Rover’s new ‘Stealth Pack’, which it says is “designed to enhance the [car’s] stealthy exterior”, can only be added to the base-model Dynamic SE, with petrol or diesel mild-hybrid six-cylinder engines.

The package costs about $18,000, and includes Carpathian Grey premium metallic paint with a satin protective wrap to contrast against an extended black exterior trim pack, with black accents on the bonnet vents and lettering, lower front and rear bumpers, and side sills.

Finishing off the look on the outside is yet more black – covering the 23-inch wheels and brake calipers, as well as coming in the form of privacy glass and contrast roof.

Inside, there’s a choice of perforated black or 'light cloud' Windsor leather – both available with black veneer highlights on the dashboard – to keep the theme running.

According to the British car maker, this is the first time a satin protective film has been included in a Range Rover Sport option pack, and is protects the vehicle from scratches and damage.

But for all that black and grey buyers will need to add $17,850 onto the cost of the car for the Dynamic SE D250, while choosing the Stealth Pack as an option on the Dynamic SE D300, P360 or P400 costs $18,180.

“It was created for clients looking for a specification which conveys empowerment and strength,” Hannah Custance, Range Rover’s materiality design manager, said in a media statement.

The 2025 Range Rover Sport Dynamic SE D250 is priced from $146,000 plus on-road costs, with first deliveries due in September.

Earlier this year, Drive reported that wait times for the Land Rover Defender and Range Rover Sport are dropping in Australia after stretching beyond 12 months in the wake of the pandemic amid semiconductor shortages.

Both vehicles – which are Land Rover's top sellers in Australia – are coming to Australia in greater numbers from factories in Nitra, Slovakia (Defender) and Solihull, UK (RR Sport), with new-order times said to be reducing significantly.

"We are delighted that more supply is now being allocated to Australia, reducing the overall wait time for these vehicles to often less than six months,” a spokesperson told Drive at the time.

The Range Rover Sport tallied 2224 sales in 2023 – a 145 per cent uplift over 2022.

In March this year, 191 Range Rover Sports were reported as sold in Australia.
