2021 Volkswagen Tiguan – 132TSI
The German manufacturer has taken a staggered launch approach with two specs of the 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan having launched last week – the 152TSI and 147TDI.
This week the 2021 Volkswagon Tiguan 132TSI hits the showrooms. It packs a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol which spits out 132kW of power and 320Nm of torque, plus substitutes the six-speed dual-clutch for a seven-speed unit, with all-wheel drive.
It boasts a long list of standard features including 18-inch alloy 'Nizza' wheels, digital cockpit pro, discover Media 8.0-inch satellite navigation system, electrically operated tailgate with easy open and close functions, lane assist, lane-departure warning system, LED headlights with high-beam assist and LED tail-lights, 'IQ.Drive' driver assistance systems including travel assist and front assist, just to name a few.
The 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan 132TSI Life starts at $43,690 plus on road costs.
2021 Ford Mustang
The changes for Model Year 2021.5 aren't major, but necessary, with the addition of the FordPass Connect system – allowing owners to lock/unlock, enable climate settings in, locate and (on auto models) start their car from the FordPass app.
The colour palette has been tweaked, with Kona Blue, Grabber Lime and Magnetic (grey) hues replaced by Yellow Peel, Carbonized Grey and Antimatter Blue, while the Mustang prices are up by $200 across most of the range.
Otherwise standard equipment stays the same, including an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and satellite navigation, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster, keyless entry, a 12-speaker B&O Play sound system, LED headlights, leather trim, 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, autonomous emergency braking, to name a few.

Hyundai Sonata N Line
The new mid-sized Hyundai sedan has arrived.
Under the bonnet of the N Line is a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, sending 213kW and 422Nm to the front wheels through an eight-speed wet-type dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Standard features are plentiful including an N Line sports body kit with unique bumpers and side skirts, 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Continental tyres, a nappa leather and suede interior, heated and ventilated sports bucket seats (with 12-way driver and 4-way passenger power adjustment), driver's seat memory, heated outboard rear seats, and a panoramic glass sunroof, to name a few.
The 2021 Hyundai Sonata N Line is priced from $50,990 before on-road costs.
