Maserati has teased a new four-seat version of its hardcore GranTurismo MC Stradale, ahead of a public unveiling at next week’s Geneva Motor Show.
Destined for sale alongside the existing two-seat MC Stradale and four-seat GranCabrio MC, the new model brings detail updates to the model which first appeared at Paris in 2010.
These include a new carbon fibre bonnet design with central air intake, and new forged 20 inch wheels with a twinned five spoke design.
The MC Stradale’s specific front airdam appears unchanged, as with the rear diffuser and ducktail spoiler.
Also unchanged is the 338kW 4.7 litre V8 engine and MC Race Shift 6-speed robotized manual gearbox.
Maserati is yet to quote a weight figure for the ‘back seat added’ MC Stradale, nor any acceleration figures, but the two-seat version’s 302km/h top speed is unaffected.
The four seat MC Stradale will go on sale in Europe mid-year, and its visual updates are expected to make their way onto the two-seat and GranCabrio MC models at the same time.
