Honda updates CR-V SUV for 2015
New features for Japanese brand’s popular SUV.
Honda has upgraded its CR-V range with a raft of changes inside and out.
The popular medium-sized SUV now has a new look featuring LED daytime running lights, a new grille, and new bumpers.
On the inside, a piano black finish with chrome surrounds helps lift cabin ambience, while all models now feature Honda's clever Display Audio stereo that can serves as an extension to some smartphones.
Honda's reversing camera now has three viewing modes – wide, top-down and normal - that add to its convenience.
Mid-range VTi-S models now feature smart keys with a push button start along with front and rear parking sensors, dual zone climate control and Honda's LaneWatch system that uses a camera to offer a look at the left lane of traffic when merging.
Leather trim and satellite navigation are reserved for the high-spec VTi-L, which is also available with an Advanced Driver Assist System that includes self-braking, active cruise control and lane keeping assistance program.
A 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 114kW remains in place for front-wheel-drive models, while all-wheel-drive cars feature a 2.4-litre engine with 140kW.
The changes only apply to petrol models. Prices for the CR-V range have not changed.
