Ferrari FF launches in Australia
Ferrari has launched the all-new Ferrari FF in Australia. The FF replaces the 612 Scaglietti as the company's only four-seat model. Priced from $625,000, the FF is $73,000 cheaper than its predecessor.
The FF is Ferrari's new flagship V12 grand tourer. It features an all-wheel drive system - a first for Ferrari - as well as four seats and a shooting brake design for convenience and versatility.
Under the bonnet sits Ferrari's new 6.3-litre GDI V12 engine producing 475kW of power and 683Nm of torque. It's matched up to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission located at the rear axle, sending power to all four wheels via an advanced 4RM drive system.
Ferrari says the FF is capable of accelerating from 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds, while its top speed is rated at 335km/h. This makes it quite easily the quickest and faster four-seat Ferrari ever produced.
Average fuel consumption is rated at 15.4 litres per 100km, which makes it 5.3L/100km more fuel efficient than the 612, despite being quicker, more powerful, and featuring all-wheel-drive. This is partly thanks to direct injection and a range of advanced engine construction materials and tolerances.
