2024 Mercedes-Benz C200 Night Edition announced with limited-time deal

A new entry-level variant has been announced for the C-Class range, offering several standard features for a limited-time price.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz C200 Night Edition has launched in Australia, coming in as the new entry-level variant in the range – but with additional standard features, and a limited-time drive-away price.

The C200 Night Edition starts from $86,900 before on-road costs, however Mercedes-Benz is offering the new model for $89,900 drive-away in all Australian states and territories, for those ordered between 12 April and 30 June 2024 and delivered by 31 July 2024.

As the name suggests, the variant gains the Night Package, which includes gloss black exterior trim highlights, AMG-style aprons front and rear, and 19-inch AMG alloy wheels.

Inside, the C200 Night Edition gets a premium Burmester '3D' surround sound system, improved insulating glass for the windscreen and front side windows, a panoramic sliding sunroof, and privacy tint on the rear windows.

It builds on the standard C200, which offers; an AMG Line interior upholstered in Artico synthetic leather with heated electric memory front seats, an 11.9-inch portrait infotainment screen – with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice control, 360-degree cameras, and DAB+ digital radio – a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and head-up display for the driver, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and wireless smartphone charging.

The Night Edition features automatic LED headlights with highbeam assist, automatic wipers, a tyre-pressure monitoring system, a power-closing boot, and keyless entry and start.

Also standard are; 10 airbags, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, radar cruise control, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, park assist, and traffic sign recognition.

The C200 is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 150kW and 300Nm, with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system providing an additional 15kW/200Nm of boost.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission, with a claimed 0-100km/h sprint time of 7.3 seconds and a combined fuel economy claim of 7.3L/100km.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz C200 Night Edition is available to order now, priced from $86,900 before on-road costs – or $89,900 drive-away for orders placed between 12 April and 30 June 2024 and delivered by 31 July 2024.
